Here's a big THANK YOU[!] to all those who have posted their reflections on this blog (where are the others??). It is good reading and I wish more of you would 'comment' on each other's posts to generate CAS-oriented discussions.
Listed below are some guidelines [taken from the CAS/AEF] that appear in your horribly-green CAS forms , posted here so that you may refer to them while blogging to keep the focus clearly on the purpose behind the effort:
When blogging about your CAS activity,
- Summarise what you did in the activity and state how you interacted with others.
- Explain what you hoped to accomplish [in some detail].
- Were you successful? If yes, explain how. If not, explain why.
- Write about the difficulties you faced and what you did about them.
- Think about and state what you learnt about yourself. About others. [We're talking about "values" and "attitudes" here.]
- If anyone helped you, mention the kind of help rendered and why help was required in the first place.
- Dwell on how your efforts in this activity benefited others.
- Would you do something differently the next time to improve?
- How can you apply what you have learned in other 'life' situations?
Here's hoping to read more posts,
How!
